Pronounced “Babby” Point - the neighbourhood is home to the Baby Point Club where locals can participate in social and athletic events such as lawn bowling and tennis. Reknowned for primarily single family homes and picturesque setting overlooking the Humber River, it’s also identified as an archeological sensitive area once the location of a 17th century Indigenous Village prior to Jacque Baby, a fur trader who settled there. Prominent land developer, Robert Home Smith later developed the community homes
